Welcome to Chori! We want you to know exactly what you're agreeing to.

What This App Does

Chori connects homeowners who need services with independent local providers who offer those services. We're a matchmaking platform — we help you find each other.

Currently Available: Snow removal, lawn care, home maintenance, and more. Visit the app to see all available services in your area.

Your Agreement with Service Providers

When you request a service through Chori, you're entering into a direct agreement with the service provider, not with us. The service provider is responsible for:

The quality of their work
Showing up when expected
Any damage that might occur during service
Setting and collecting their own prices

Our Role (and Limitations)

Chori provides the technology platform to connect you. We do NOT:

Employ the service providers
Guarantee their work
Handle payments between you and providers
Accept liability for services performed

We do our best to maintain a quality network of providers, including ratings and reviews, but ultimately the relationship is between you and your chosen provider.

Be a Good Neighbor

Treat service providers with respect
Pay promptly for services rendered
Provide accurate information about your property
Keep your account information current

SMS Communications

By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to SMS notifications during registration, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Chori at the number provided. You understand that:

Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service, though certain features (such as real-time service notifications) require SMS to function properly.
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan.
Message frequency varies based on your activity.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or adjusting your notification settings in the app.

Types of messages you may receive include:

Service request alerts and confirmations
Status updates about ongoing service requests
Account verification and security codes

We will never send promotional or marketing messages via SMS without your separate explicit consent.

Account Responsibility

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity on your account.
